Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase of products from Roudel Medical & Surgical Supplies Inc.  Roudel Medical reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions in its sole discretion, without liability and without prior notice to the Customer. By continuing to place an order with Roudel Medical, the Customer acknowledges and accepts any changes to the terms and conditions.  Orders are binding and subject to final approval by Roudel Medical.

Product Information:

• All product descriptions and performance claims have been supplied by the manufacturer and are as accurate as possible (errors and omissions excepted). Roudel  does not make any express or implied warranties regarding the products, their descriptions or performance claims.  Warranties vary by product and are provided directly by the manufacturer.
• Our website and catalogues do not list all products available by Roudel Medical, but rather a selection of the most popular products. Please contact our Customer Service Department for products not listed.  
• We have been very diligent to match product numbers with photos. However, some items may not be exactly as shown. Photos shown may include additional accessories or optional parts that are not included unless specifically purchased.

Payment Options:

• We accept direct deposit, e-transfer and cheque payments; cheques should be mailed to us within 30 days from the invoice date.  
• We accept credit card payments through Visa, MasterCard and American Express.  Credit card payments are automatically processed the first week of every month.
• On larger orders or a new Customer, we may, at our discretion, require full payment in advance before delivery.  For example, new clinic equipment orders.

Pricing and Currency:

• All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• At Roudel Medical, we endeavor to bring the best price to our customers at all times.
• Our prices are subject to change without notice.
• Prices on the website or catalogue do not include taxes. All taxes are extra where applicable.
• Prices on the website do not include shipping cost.  Shipping cost is extra where an order is below the minimum amount before tax.

Terms of Sale:

• Payment terms are Net 30 days from the date of invoice on approved credit, unless otherwise stated.   Taxes are extra where applicable.   A monthly service charge of 2.5% may be assessed on all past-due invoices.
• Customer provided credit card number to be used / credit card form, the Customer authorizes Roudel Medical to charge the credit card the total amount of the order. Roudel Medical will not be held responsible for insufficient funds to complete the transaction and any insufficient fund charges will be the responsibility of the Customer.
• A monthly service charge of 2.5% may be assessed on all past-due invoices.  In addition, the customer is responsible for expenses such as attorney fees, court costs, and other costs incurred by Roudel Medical resulting from the Customer’s default.
• Title of merchandise remains with Roudel Medical until the invoice for the product is paid in full.
• We may require, at our discretion, full payment in advance of an order being shipped.

Return Policy:

• Products are not returnable without prior written authorization by Roudel Medical and may be subject to a restocking fee.  25% Restocking fee applies on returned items except when an error by Roudel Medical.  To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Service Department for a Return Authorization number (RMA).  
• Items returned must be in resalable condition and in original packaging. Defective products are excluded from this provision.  Credits for returned goods are issued only after the products are received and inspected in our warehouse.
• Returns resulting from Customer error will not be eligible for credit on inbound / outbound freight charges.
•  Items being returned must be re-packaged into a larger container to protect the original packaging of the product.  A label must be attached to the outside of the re-packaged item(s) showing the authorization number and Roudel Medical address.
• For non-stock items, items are not returnable unless the manufacturer accepts the return of the items.  There may be a 25% restocking and freight fees.
• All returns must be received by our warehouse within 5 days from the date of authorization.
• Dated, temperature-controlled and special order products cannot be returned, except as a result of Roudel error or product failure.  To prevent the costs involved with the return of inventory that is excessive or obsolete we may request that some products be disposed of by Customer’s location.
• All Requests to return goods must be made with the following information: Account number, Invoice and purchase order number, Catalogue number, Quantity and unit of measure, Lot number and expiration date, Specific reason for return and Packing slip.
• Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.  No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the purchase date.

Shipping Policy:

• At Roudel Medical, we take pride in providing our Customers with fast shipping.
• The customer is responsible for inspecting all shipments carefully for damages and counting the total number of boxes received to ensure it matches the carrier’s delivery receipt.  All external damages or shortages must be noted at the time of delivery on the carrier's delivery receipt and the driver must countersign that notation.
• All damage and shortage claims must be reported to Roudel Medical’s Customer Service department within 2 days of receipt of goods. Damages to capital equipment are required to be reported immediately.
• If Customer delivery requirements are outside the regular shipping delivery schedule, the customer assumes responsibility for freight costs.
•  Additional charges may apply for non-standard shipping requirements such as sending hazardous goods, fuel surcharge for certain geographic areas, additional shipping charges to remote locations and other charges. For more details, contact Roudel Medical’s Customer Care.

Minimum Order Policy:

• Unless otherwise stated, a minimum order quantity is required for all orders to waive the shipping and handling fee.  Certain areas qualify for free delivery when orders meet certain dollar values.
• Remote areas and large equipment may be subject to additional delivery charges. Please call for details.
• Equipment and furniture Items do not qualify for free shipping when delivery and installation is required.  We have a great delivery and installation service that ensures your satisfaction.  Please contact us for details.
•  Minimum order value for prepaid freight is listed below. A $25 fuel surcharge fee plus HST applies for orders below these amounts.

Order Cancellation Policy:

Orders cancelled after shipment has occurred will be subject to the Product Return Policy.  Custom and special orders cannot be cancelled if in process by, or in transit from, the manufacturer.

Privacy and Confidentiality Policy:

At Roudel Medical, we respect customers' privacy and confidentiality.  The information provided to us will not be sold or shared with any third party outside our organization, except if

required to do so by law, court order or other government or law enforcement authority.
